Abstract
The frequency and durabilityof heat waves inKhuzestanprovince have become a climate hazard in the last decade. Therefore, the purpose of this studyis to identify and introduce the synoptic pattern that leads to the creation of heat waves inKhuzestan.Forthis purpose, the daily temperature data from the Central Meteorological Organization's car was.Based on the selection criteria (maximum statistical length, synchronous length, and proportional geographical distribution),the18year statistical base was selected at11 synoptic stations.Three criteria for selecting heat waves are(a)the temperature rise at all stations in synchrony (b) the wavelength period must be at least7days.(C)The average temperature of the warm-wave period exceeds the monthly and long term average of the fish in which the wave is located.A total of37warm waves were identified.Three methods (optical analysis,Bald index and finally factor analysis)were used to determine thesynoptic patterns. The results of this study showed that the most frequent pattern in the lower tropospheric level of thermal compression occurs on theArabian Peninsula. It covers all areas of the Arabian Peninsula, southwest of Iran and all ofIraq to the south ofTurkey along the southeast-northwest direction. This low pressure is accompanied by a very hot core as this warm air circulates in the lower layer of the troposphere over Khuzestan province. In the middle layer of the high-pressure troposphere,Saudi Arabia is located in the northern half of the Red Sea, which covers the entire ridge ofKhuzestan province. With the deployment of this rotor, the dynamic stability and the endless warming that it produces have exacerbated the underlying heat. With the deployment of this dynamiccycle, the region has added to the warm wave continuity.
